It all started in the garden...
The purchase of our home in 2013 started my love affair with flower gardening and seasonal floral design. I founded the nonprofit Secret Garden in 2022 to share God's beauty with others, especially those who are journeying through grief, loss, or loneliness.

Flowers can be a great way to connect people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. In times of difficulty, flowers have the power to communicate where words may fail us.

From June through September, volunteers meet weekly in a local community garden to craft bouquets from garden fresh flowers. These are nights filled with creativity, connection, and community. The bouquets we make are then delivered to the community. We offer weekly bouquets to Pathways hospice. We also donate to shelters, long-term care facilities, senior living homes, and memory care units.
